Terms of use

The rules for using SlabHeist, in plain English. By using the site you agree to them.

Last updated October 24, 2026

The short version

  • Values are estimates from public sales, not appraisals.
  • PSA's own cert lookup decides a cert's status.
  • We are not affiliated with PSA or Collectors.
  • Card photos are reference images, not the stolen copies.
  • Our charts, share images and video summary may be reused with the credit "Data: SlabHeist.com, from PSA's list".
  • Some marketplace links earn SlabHeist a commission, and say so where they appear.

What this site is

SlabHeist is an independent site about the graded slabs stolen on October 13, 2026, as PSA listed them on October 23. It is for general information only. It is not legal, financial, insurance or appraisal advice, and it is not a service of PSA, Collectors, FedEx or any police agency.

Values are estimates

Every value on SlabHeist is an estimate built from public sales we found and cite. Card prices move, sales can be misreported, and PSA's list does not say what grade each stolen slab received. Do not rely on our numbers to buy, sell, insure or settle a claim for a card. We do not promise that any estimate is accurate, complete or current.

Cert status

The list on this site is a copy of PSA's list as published on October 23, 2026. A cert may change status after that, for example if a slab is recovered, and PSA's cert lookup (opens in a new tab) is the source of truth.

A cert that is not on our list is not proof that a slab is genuine or rightfully owned. It only means the cert was not on this list.

No warranty

The site is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, and we are not liable for any loss that comes from using the site or relying on it, including a purchase, a sale or a claim.

Independence and trademarks

SlabHeist is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by PSA or Collectors Universe, Inc. PSA is a trademark of Collectors Universe, Inc. Pokémon, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic: The Gathering, and the names of card makers, leagues, teams and players, belong to their owners. We use these names only to identify cards.

Images

Card photos on SlabHeist are reference images of the same card, not photos of the stolen copies. The artwork belongs to its publishers. We show it to help people identify stolen cards and to report on the theft, which we consider fair use. If you hold rights in an image and want it removed, email hello@slabheist.com and we will take it down.

Using our content

Cert numbers and PSA's card descriptions are facts PSA published so the public could spot the slabs. Use them freely. Our own writing, design, rankings and estimates belong to SlabHeist. You may quote them and link to them with credit.

You may also reuse our charts (including screenshots of them), the share image of any page and the video summary on The Haul, in news reports, videos and posts, free of charge. Show them unchanged apart from resizing or cropping, keep any date they show, and credit them "Data: SlabHeist.com, from PSA's list", with a link to slabheist.com where the format allows one. This does not cover card photos, whose artwork belongs to its publishers (see Images above).

Please do not copy the site wholesale, or scrape it in a way that slows it down for other people.

Using the site fairly

Do not use SlabHeist to harass, accuse or expose anyone. A seller offering a slab from the list may not know where it came from, so report it to the police and let them handle it. Do not sign up anyone else's email address.

Email updates

Email updates are free and optional. The privacy policy explains what we store and how to leave the list.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
