What was taken
Counted straight from PSA's list of stolen certs, so nothing in this part is an estimate.
By category, then sport or language
Each block is sized by stolen slabs. Pokémon alone is 46% of the list.
The 14 PSA no-grade vouchers (3 of PSA's descriptions) have no card details, so they are counted apart from every category, Other cards included.

Most copies of one card
The cards with the most slabs on PSA's list. Each is one PSA description, so variants count apart.
What it is worth
Only the 2,125 cards (4,288 slabs, 66% of the list) with a SlabHeist estimate from cited public sales. PSA's list gives no grades, so these are what the priced slabs come to at a grade, not what the stolen copies are worth.
If every priced slab were one grade
What the 4,288 slabs we have priced come to if every one were a PSA 8, a PSA 9 or a PSA 10.
The low end counts each priced card at its PSA 8 estimate, or at its lowest priced grade when no PSA 8 sale is cited. The high end counts it at PSA 10, or at its highest priced grade when no PSA 10 sale is cited. The PSA 9 figure counts each priced card at its PSA 9 estimate, or at its PSA 8 estimate when no PSA 9 sale is cited, then at PSA 10.

Top 25 by total exposure
Copies stolen times the card's value estimate: PSA 10, or the nearest grade with a cited sale. It is how the list sorts by total exposure.
PSA's list does not give the grades of the stolen slabs, so each figure is what those copies would come to at that grade, not what they are worth.
How concentrated the value is
The top 10 cards hold 46% of the priced value. The top card alone, Julius Erving / Larry Bird / Magic Johnson (1980 Topps), holds 15%.

Why we do not guess yet
Price research started with the most notable cards, so the cards priced so far are not a fair sample of the rest. Multiplying them out to the whole list would overstate it. Once most of the list is priced, the gap left to fill is small enough to estimate, and we will show that estimate here, labeled as a projection, with how it was made.
